  • Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. (ICF definition)

  • ●  Helping someone move from they are now to where they want to be. And do this more quickly and efficiently than if they were on their own.

  • ●  Coaching involves the belief that the individual has the answers to their own problems within them.

  • ●  The coach is not a subject expert, but rather is focused on helping the individual to unlock their own potential. The focus is very much on the individual and what is inside their head. A coach is not necessarily a designated individual (formal coaching): anyone can take a coaching approach with others, whether peers, subordinates or superiors (informal coaching).

  • ●  A good coach is able to assist a client to obtain their desired goal(s). A coach achieves this with the use of powerful tools and techniques to help their client uncover their own answers, gain clarity on what they want and what could be holding them back. This level of awareness and support encourages their clients to break through any obstacles and go on to achieve their ambitions.
